Pandemic Survey: Please take a moment to fill out the United Way of Central Ohio’s Pandemic Impact Survey. This survey is to determine the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on families in our communities. The information gathered from this survey will be used by UWCO to help identify what is and what is not working in our community, and how community partners can help.

GCAC Neighborhood Arts Connection Fellowship

The Greater Columbus Arts Council, in collaboration with the city of Columbus, will select one neighborhood in the city each year. Artists from the selected neighborhood are invited to propose an art
project that actively engages the community in that neighborhood. All artistic disciplines are encouraged

Walk in For Recovery

If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction to drugs or alcohol, we are here to help. Walk in for Recovery sites can help asses your needs and quickly connect you to treatment. A mobile health clinic will also be available offering important health screenings and services. All services are free. For questions, call 614-645-6843. For the South Side, July 13 & 14 Walk in Recovery will be at Primary One Health Center at John Maloney, 1905 Parsons.

Play Scholarship

40,000 Kids Receive PLAY Scholarships

Columbus Recreation and Parks’ programs, camps, classes and sports offer kids much more than something to do – they help kids develop social and academic skills, provide opportunities for physical activity and serve as a safe, supportive place for kids to spend time. The PLAY Scholarship Fund was created because the City of Columbus believes all kids deserve the chance to play regardless of ability to pay. Financially-challenged families with children 18 years and younger can apply for a PLAY Scholarship for any fee-based program offered through Columbus Recreation and Parks. Since 1993, more than 40,000 children have received PLAY scholarships,
